My Neurosurgical Training in Chennai (2003-2008) involved working in the prestigious Neurosurgical unit at Voluntary Health Services Hospital. I had the honor of starting with and being the last student of Prof. B. Ramamurthi, the first Neurosurgeon of India, who established this institute after superannuation from Madras Medical College. Thereafter, I worked under Dr. Chandrashekhar Deopujari and Dr. Uday Andar at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai (2009 – 2011).

I then moved to Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, where under the mentorship of giants like Dr. A.K Banerjee and Dr. Ravi Bhatia, I grew up the professional ladder. Since August 2015, I have been serving as a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spine Surgeon at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi.

In addition to my role at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, I also had the opportunity to work as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Tirath Ram Shah Hospital, Delhi, Chikitsa Noida Medical Centre, and Apollo Hospital, Noida.

In June 2020, I transitioned to Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai, where I continued to develop my expertise in neurosurgery. In September 2022, I joined Yatharth Superspeciality Hospital in Greater Noida West. Subsequently I joined back at Tirathram Hospital, Delhi in December 2023. There I continue along with being a Visiting Consultant Neuro Surgery at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Delhi and Apollo Hospitals Noida..

Throughout my career, I have been involved in over 2000 brain and spine surgeries at Apollo Hospitals over the last 15 years, including approximately 1000 brain surgeries and more than 1200 spinal surgeries. I have also performed around 150 surgeries at Tirath Ram Shah Hospital and another 150 at Yatharth Hospitals. Additionally, I have operated on over 300 pediatric neurosurgery cases at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai.

I have performed microsurgical excision of brain and spinal tumors, both intra and extra-axial, including gliomas, acoustic tumors, pituitary tumors (Endoscopic Transnasal procedures), and giant meningiomas. Many of these intracranial surgeries have required frameless image guidance or frame-based stereotactic assistance, including the use of the CRW frame for stereotactic biopsies. I have been part of more than 1800 brain and spine surgeries at Apollo Hospitals over the last 10 years.

I have also been involved in the treatment planning, with the medical physicist and the radiation oncologist, of patients taken up for stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT).

I hold the position of Honorary Neurosurgeon at Tirath Ram Shah Charitable Hospitals, Delhi & a Visiting Consultant Neuro Surgery at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Delhi and Apollo Hospitals Noida.. Additionally, I have conducted several national clinics and international clinics in Tanzania at the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Health Hospitals along with my senior faculty.
